Pat playing  Santa and distributing gifts to the children at Wolfson Children's Hospital
I met Carrie in November of 1968. Our first date was a football game—Ribault vs. Terry Parker. I must have made a good impression. We had more dates and were engaged in January of 1969. We were married on July 11, 1969. This year will make it 40 years. I am amazed that she has put up with me all these years. I guess we are still on our honeymoon. We have two wonderful children and have been blessed with four grandchildren.

I have been on the Reunion Committee for a few years and have enjoyed every minute. Carrie has put in a lot of work along with the Committee. She was made an honorary member of the Class of 67 at the last reunion. She would have been a member of the Class of 71.

The last couple of years I have played Santa at Christmas for the children at Wolfson Children’s Hospital. This is something that Frankie and I  planned before his untimely death.
