Steven Wayne Carter, 52, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2002. Mr. Carter was born in Kyoto, Japan and had lived in Jacksonville for most of his life and graduated from Ribault High School in 1967. He was a member of the millwright Union Local #2411.
He is survived by his father, Charles R. (Joan) Carter; mother Jessie J. Jewell; 1 son Michael Carter; 2 sisters, Kelly Pelley and Sherri Collins; 3 brothers, Jimmy & Ron Carter and Scott Hill.
Interment took place in Oakland Cemetery, in Waycross, Ga.
