40th Reunion Notes & Posts
WOW!!!  What a Party!!!
Thanks to all of you for making this such a GREATFANTASTICWONDERFULSTUPENDEOUS success!!
The support and caring of our Class never ceases to amaze me.  Through YOUR  GENEROSITY, we sold $625 worth of Reunion Glasses (we still have a few more!), made $300 from the Silent auction, raised a whopping $1046 for the 50/50 raffle (Congratulations to Donn & Bootsie Kirkland who won half the pot!), gave away over $1600 worth of donated door prizes, and finally, you gave over $250 to the newly established Trojan Memorial Fund.

Congratulations to Tyra Ingram Cable on winning the Flat Screen HDTV.

As soon as I recover from doing the Twist (long version) with Marsha Brackett,
I'll post more information!!

How about a great big hand for your Reunion Committee!!  They done good!!
(Anybody up for a 60th Birthday Party in two years?)
If you weren't able to make it...You really, really missed a great time!
Here are just a few of the comments your Classmates had to offer on the Reunion:

Dear Reunion Committee,
I wanted to extend my thanks for a wonderful weekend. It was an incredible experience to see everyone and especially so many classmates attending their first reunion!   It was obvious a lot of work was put into the planning and implementing of the reunion. I think most classmates realize that even the best laid plans do not always come off as you would like, but please know that whatever may not have worked out at the facility, that you pulled off what was the most important; getting us all together
My sincere appreciation and gratitude.
Kay (Dees) McGee

Just in case you don't see the message on the guest book, what a great weekend! Please tell all of the committee members that they put together an awesome reunion! I just can't tell you how good it was to see everyone. I had to leave for a few hours on Saturday for my brother's birthday.( the nerve to plan a party on the same day). I couldn't wait to get back up there and just made it for the picture!
I'm looking forward to the 60th birthday party I heard some talking about. Take care of yourself and thanks again!
Sincerely,
Gary (Coulliette)

Good morning Frank,
I wanted to thank you and the entire reunion committee again for putting together a fabulous 40th reunion for all the students of Ribault Class of 1967 to remember.
Everyone did a wonderful job in the planning and coordinating of the activities for the entire weekend and I know it will be a memorable for all attendees. A lot of hard work from all the committee members reflected on the outstanding performance of the event.
Once again, thank you.
Take care,
Renee (Sallah) Smith

Hi Frank!
I wanted to take a minute and thank you and the entire reunion committee for a wonderful weekend. A lot of work went into the planning and preparation for the reunion and I think you all did a fantastic job. I really enjoyed visiting and catching up on old friends. The whole weekend was a lot of fun.
Please express our appreciation to all the committee members for all their hard work. Thanks again.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to our wonderful reunion committee on another perfect job. To all of my classmates, it was so good seeing you and visiting with you. When I see you, I still see the sweet boys and girls of so long ago. Thank God for the memories, and thank you for being in so many of my life's fondest times. I pray that each of you will find joy and happiness in the remainder of your lives. I can hardly wait for our Birthday Party, and I really do hope that we can have our reunion's sooner than 5 years. Frank, Darlene or whoever I need to tell, I would really love to work with you on the committee anyway that I can. God Bless all of you, please keep in touch. Frank, Thank You again for this wonderful website and the ability to keep up with all of our friends from the greatest class ever.

Hi Frank,
Great job by the reunion committee. It was obvious that a great deal of thought and work went into the planning.
LaTrelle (Lee) LeFevre

I hope each of you found as much healing as I did in being with friends who continue to share the journey of life. I applaud each of your individual courage and life. I think this was an endeavor of tremendous love. The friends on the committee are wonderful and you each have my gratitude for your personal contribution. I hope your lives continue with peace , success, and passion for the earth and humanity. I had a wonderful time and thank each of you who shared some experiences of your life with me (old and new). What a great dance party !!!! Are we good or what!!. I hope to hear from any of you as I am open to be a continuing friend. A personal thanks to Frankie, just because. You are all beautiful!!!. Love to all of you
Debbie (Gandy) McBride

What a fantastic weekend, I had!! The reunion committee did a great job of planning, organizing and pulling off a fun weekend for all of us. The 40th reunion was the one of the BEST if not the BEST. Thank each and everyone of one for the any hours and long phone calls and emails that went to into your efforts. It was so much fun to see so many people after so long. It had been fifteen years for me.
Joan (Kilpatrick) Stallworth and Barney Stallworth

The Verdict Is - It was WONDERFUL!  We had a really great time and I think all who attended did also.  Those that missed it really missed The Best Reunion.  All of you did a great job but I do think you, Judy, and Charlene deserve extra special recognition for all the time and effort you gave to make it a huge success.
My faith has been restored in attending and Lord willing I will be making plans to make the next one.  However, Tommy and I may not be able to sail as smooth on the dance floor.  Ha!Ha!  We will be much older or we could forget the Ballroom  Dancing moves.  By the way, are we going to have a 60th Birthday Party Bash?  I forgot to ask and we have had them for all the High Numbers in the past.
We will look forward to the Reunion pictures, updates, and comments. Once again, thanks for a Wonderful  Weekend full of HAPPY MEMORIES.
Take Care,
Mary Ann (Meares) Crumley

This was my 1st reunion to attend and I can't wait until the next (or the Birthday Party) or any other excuse to get together. THANK YOU - Frank, Judy and the planning committee.  Y'all did a fantastic job!  I never dreamed just how much a part of my life each and everyone in the class is.  Even if we did not remember each other, somewhere in the back of my mind is your smiling face walking past in the hall.  THANKS to every member of the Class of 67 for wonderful memory's and a Great weekend .
Jim Mackie

To all our dear classmates, Frankie & the Reunion Committee, I just don't know where to begin! What a wonderful weekend! I enjoyed every minute of it. I do, however, have two regrets: 1) that more of our classmates couldn't have joined us, and 2) that we CAN'T DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN THIS WEEKEND! It was so much fun going over old stories, laughing, and trying to figure out who the heck everyone was.  Frankie, you and the Reunion Committee deserve so much more than a plaque in recognition for your hard work.  I hope your payback came as you watched everyone having the time of their lives!  To all our Classmates - we are family.  I hope that those who couldn't come to the Reunion, will make plans to come to our 60th Birthday Party. I believe that once you come, you will never miss another! (And, yes, it was that good!)
Love,
Judy (Baucom) Hunter

Dearest Frankie, Judy, Darlene, Charlene, Ray, Pat, Nancy, Beverly, Laura, Vanesa and Nancy and the gang (oops..I apologize for leaving someone's name out).

You all can be so very proud of this fantastic, awesome, wonderful, etc, etc, etc...... accomplishment!!! Douglas and I enjoyed ourselves so much!!!!. We are still talking about it and probably will for days to come.

What you all painstakingly planned, coordinated, put together,..... the list could be endless, will always be remembered. Everyone had such a great time. It is amazing how our bond of friendships has deepened over the years with one another. It is so endearing to see old friends catching up, laughing, reminding, hugging, with one another (it reminded me of a song Louis Armstrong sang..."What a Wonderful World"...the class of 67 has their own, unique comradery). Not to be melancholy, but, we may never see
some again and it meant so much to see everyone and let them know how much they are loved. The time just flew by.

Do we not have a super class of classmates!! I had so many to ask and show concern for me. It meant so much. And also, to extend "congrats" to Douglas and myself. As Judy Baucom stated with much regret that our classmates that were unable to attend, unfortunately missed a super time. I realize we had some that had major as well as sad circumstances that prevented them to be able to join us. Hopefully, at the 60th Birthday
Party we all can catch up then.

In closing, forgive the rambling, but it is straight from the heart. Please convey this message to the gang.
Thanks to all!!!!!
Ann (Long) Webb

On behalf of YOUR Reunion Committee, THANK YOU! to all of those who took time to write a note or call, with your thanks, praise and congratulations. Knowing that you had a wonderful weekend of reminiscing and  renewing old friendships made all the hard work worth while.
